Close-up of Anschutz butt
stock
This view shows the range of adjustments possible at the butt end of a precision
target rifle, virtually everything can be altered so as to get a perfect fit of
the gun to the shooter. This gun is an Anschutz 1913 and is using a traditional
wooden (walnut) stock, however these days the tendency is to employ synthetic
materials instead of wood, so as to avoid any movement caused by changes in
humidity.
