Sealand 100 and 300 metre ranges
Sealand is located just inside North Wales and close to the end of the M56 motorway, it is thus easy and convenient to get to from the Marple area. It has just two ranges at 100 and 300 metres, both with 12 firing points. In this view, taken from the access road, the 100 metre range is on the left. Sealand is in a quiet, green area, but is quite exposed to the wind and this makes it a good spot for practice in varying weather conditions. Like many such installations it is owned and run by the military and civilian clubs have to book their use in advance.
